St. Mary’s school community follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, working together to develop the whole child in a spiritual, moral, academic, physical, social and emotional way, within a caring and supportive environment.

Times:

Reception (once their induction has been completed), Years 1 and 2: 8.40am-3pm (Registers are at 9am).

Years 3-6: 8.40am-3.15pm (Registers are at 9am).

Each year group (Y1-6) also has a supervised homework club after school each week (1 hour) to support their learning further.

Total Weekly School Hours:

Reception: 8.40am -3pm (6 hours and 20 minutes X 5 days = 31 hours and 40 minutes each week )

Years 1 and 2: 8.40am -3pm (6 hours and 20 minutes X 5 days = 31 hours and 40 minutes each week + 1 hour homework club = 32 hours and 40 minutes each week)

Years 3-6: 8.40am – 3.15pm (6 hours and 35 minutes X 5 days + 1 hour homework club = 33 hours and 55 minutes each week)
